Interview with a police officer regarding Michael Jackson

Interview with a police officer

While on vacation I had a chance to chat with a policeman regarding various Michael Jackson issues.

Here is roughly how the conversations went.

Are you following the Michael Jackson thing?

Not really.

From what you know, is there ANY possibility that Michael Jackson could have faked his death?

No way.

For one thing, he'd have to pay off too many people.
A million here, a million there and there just isn't enough money, even for Michael Jackson.

Would they have taken fingerprints?

Maybe, maybe not.
It's difficult getting fingerprints off a dead body and really DNA evidence is so accurate that fingerprints aren't used as much anymore.

What if he had a body double and that person was ill and about to die anyway...and that body double was also the one who showed up for his legal issues in the 90's?

That still wouldn't work because of the DNA evidence.   The DNA can be compared to the DNA of his family members to see if it matches.   Have any of his family been in trouble with the law?
They probably have a DNA sample on record somewhere.

There is simply too much DNA evidence here.  Now if he had disappeared in the sea with no trace of his remains - that might've worked....

What if Michael had noticed something interesting while in Bahrain or in travel around that time and  provided useful evidence  and needed to get away and join the witness protection program?

I can't see someone like that being agreeable to the witness protection program's way of doing things.   Plus, if he was going that route, it would have been him quietly disappearing, which isn't what happened here.
